Motivational Speaker Rob Moore to Keynote Prestigious Workplace Learning Conference

Albany, NY – A motivational speaker with humble beginnings will be the keynote presenter at the 16th Annual Hudson-Mohawk American Society for Training & Development Workplace Learning and Performance Conference in April.

Rob Moore (TheRobMoore.com), who grew up in Poughkeepsie as a shy African-American kid with little confidence, will present, Show Up, Step Out & Shine, his 3-step formula that he has personally followed that answers the question: “How Can I Perform Better?” The program puts people on the fast track to become a leader who will SHINE in life, business, and career.

“My life changed the day I realized I was responsible for my entire future, not anyone else,” says Moore. “I began to do things most people won’t do and do the best in everything I do.”

Moore went from part-time seafood clerk to Price Chopper store manager, eventually running one of the top five stores in the giant supermarket chain. His Newburgh store averaged nearly one-million dollars in revenue per week. Moore has written three books on leadership, motivation, and success.

Nine other highly-regarded presenters will hold conference seminars. Topics include learning and development with social media, how to improve trust and transparency, and the latest on technology tools in training. An afternoon panel discussion will also take place.

The conference theme is “Learning and Workforce Development.” The ASTD Conference is a premier training event.
